They immediately go for the mac-n-cheese and hot dogs while running away from the broccoli spears and or stir fry you made for dinner. For years, many have thought the reason these children are so fussy is simply because their parents don’t enforce healthy eating. One new study, though, has concluded that picky eaters might not have much control over their behaviors.

The Duke Center for Eating Disorders has worked hard to learn a bit more about the fussy eaters among us. An online registry and survey was posted in July 2010.It encompassed a number of different questions about diet including what was consumed, what wasn’t, and why respondents didn’t like the foods they refused. More than 7,500 individuals completed the survey,and while the results aren’t all in, the early tallies make for some interesting preliminary conclusions.

Director Nancy Zucker has hypothesized that final analysis will show most strong dislikes have nothing to do with how a person was raised,but has more to do with the sensory quality of the foods, such as how the foods look or how they smell.

Surprisingly many of the respondents stated that the dishes their friends and family qualify as delicious foods don’t actually look like foods to them.

Another interesting conclusion? Bland and processed foods are highly favored foods for even fussy adult eaters.

Naturally, these results don’t mean you should avoid trying new foods, or that you should allow your child to only eat the foods that they love,but rather that you should take a healthy approach to eating by simply enjoying dinner time.And those who are fussy should look to choices like our nutrition bars including our Fruit Nut Karma bars,which not only taste good, but are filled with many of the necessary vitamins and nutrients your body needs as well.    Healthy meals are more fun and tasty than unhealthy food. Usually fatty meals are only to satisfaction and enjoyment of a meal and not satisfy our health. When ones you adopt to eat healthy foods, you’ll be forced to make hem tasty and variety in all kinds of different ways.

   To work best, our body needs vitamins, minerals, carbohydrates, proteins and liquids. A good vegetable, fruits, grains and proteins keeps our body healthy. Eating this kind of food prevents from the risk of illnesses such as cancer, high blood pressure, diabetes and heart disease, blood cholesterol. A deficient diet can result in obesity, and anemia.  It is possible to have healthy food delivered to your door, either fresh ingredients or prepared meals. 2. Avoid deep fry, try grilling or baking instead deep fry and try to add high fiber diet. Always take fiber content and low fat diet: like if have to eat bread go to wheat bread (Brown bread), include more quantity of green and color vegetables and fruits such as carrot, beetroot, orange, apple papaya and guava, especially guava is very good for diabetes and papaya is good for blood cholesterol and heart diseases it melts the fat sediments which mixed in our blood.

   Once you have to adopt some time on healthy food diets, you’ll find it very hard to go back to your old one. These are just some of the main reasons to get into a healthy food diet, so make that decision today to change your diet and change your lifestyle.
